About the Aspen Leafs
Established in 1972, Aspen Junior Hockey is a highly structured non-profit youth hockey association sanctioned by USA Hockey. As top members of the CDYHL and MSGHL, Aspen provides advanced instruction to the Roaring Fork Valley. With the mission of developing youth into young men and women with strong character through the sport of hockey, Aspen provides its members an advanced program based on long-term athletic development. The Leafs continue to play at the infamous Aspen Ice Garden, where Bob Johnson and Art Berglund started the Bob Johnson School of Hockey in 1964.
